TZ 100 Network Security Appliance Series - Starting at $499
Comprehensive protection at a revolutionary price.
The entry point of the TZ Series, the SonicWALL® TZ 100 Series makes high performance Unified Threat Management (UTM) available and affordable for everyone. Combining a powerful Unified Threat Management feature set with state-of-the-art high-speed architecture and five configurable 10/100 interfaces, the TZ 100 delivers uncompromising protection for small- to medium-sized businesses (SMBs).
The new SonicWALL® TZ Series is the most secure Unified Threat Management (UTM) firewall for small businesses, retail deployments, government organizations, remote sites and branch offices. Unlike consumer-grade products, the TZ Series delivers the most effective anti-malware, intrusion prevention, content/URL filtering and application control capabilities along with the broadest most secure mobile platform support for laptops, smartphones and tablets. It provides full deep packet inspection (DPI) at very high performance levels, eliminating the network bottleneck that other products introduce, and enabling organizations to realize increased productivity gains. The TZ Series is the most secure, sophisticated and widely-deployed security platform on the market today.
The SonicWALL TZ Series advances UTM protection by combining intrusion prevention, gateway anti-virus, anti-spyware, content/url filtering, enforced client anti-virus, and anti-spam services. Additionally, the SonicWALL application intelligence and control feature in the TZ 215 ensures that bandwidth is available for business-critical applications while throttling or blocking unproductive applications. The TZ 215 also offers advanced application traffic analytics and reporting for deep insight into bandwidth utilization and security threats.
Higher performance protection.
Many consumer-grade solutions lack the processing power and security sophistication to scan traffic for all threats without slowing down the network. Unlike these consumer solutions, the TZ Series utilizes patented SonicWALL Reassembly-Free Deep Packet Inspection® (DPI) technology1 to examine traffic simultaneously across all ports without introducing latency to the network. As a result, organizations are not required to make a choice between advanced DPI security and network performance.
Flexible remote access.
The TZ Series includes additional advanced networking features such as IPSec and SSL VPN. The TZ Series is the only available UTM firewall that provides native VPN remote access client for Apple® iOS, Google® Android™, Windows, Mac OS and Linux. This unique client also supports Clean VPN™, which decontaminates threats from VPN traffic. Providing the most secure support for mobile platforms, only SonicWALL delivers full malware scanning of SSL encrypted traffic and application control for Android and iOS devices.
Secure wireless connectivity.
The TZ Series also provides Clean Wireless, combining UTM with high-speed 802.11n wireless to encrypt traffic while also ensuring the integrity of all traffic passing through. In addition, the TZ Series offers an option for 3G2 wireless WAN and analog modem connectivity for use as the primary or failover connection.
Easy to understand and easy to use, The TZ firewall solution is built upon the industry's most advanced object-based management operating system—SonicOS. Thanks to this intuitive interface, you don’t have to sacrifice ease of use for power. Now, distributed enterprises and SMBs can experience enterprise-class high-performance protection at a lower total cost of ownership.
Every TZ Series appliance is also available as a SonicWALL TotalSecure solution, a convenient and affordable solution that combines the hardware and all the services needed for comprehensive network protection from a wide range of network threats—including viruses, spyware, worms, Trojans, keyloggers and more.
At the 2010 Coopersville Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner Meeting CCS Technologies was presented with this year’s Service Provider of the Year award. Coopersville Chamber Executive Director Cindy Timmerman presented the award with some very kind comments. To quote Cindy, “CCS Technologies is going to be celebrating their 35th year in business in January. The IT business has evolved rapidly and CCS Technologies has been able to morph their business to meet the technology needs of their customers. It is rare for a business of this nature to have survived the many advances in technology, and not only has CCS survived, but thrived and recently opened their second location in downtown Grand Haven.”
Spring Lake native opens technology services, products store in Grand Haven: GRAND HAVEN — There’s a new electronics retail and service store in downtown Grand Haven. Greg Slater has opened up a local branch of CCS Technologies in the building he recently purchased at 206 Washington. The business is an expansion of his CCS Technologies store in Coopersville, which the Spring Lake native has operated for 33 years. "We provide information technology products and support services to both individuals and small- to medium-sized businesses," he said.
The shelves of office supplies filling the downtown Coopersville storefront of CCS Technologies are a bit misleading as to the nature of the 30-year-old technology firm. “When we moved downtown, they said, ‘Please put in office supplies; we don’t want to have to go to Alpine (Avenue),” explained CCS Technologies founder and President Greg Slater. Although the stretch of Randall Street that leads from downtown Coopersville to the I-96 expressway is rapidly expanding with strip malls and shopping plazas, the nearest office supply store is still 14 miles away on the Alpine Avenue commercial corridor in Walker.
